New ISL team ‘Bengaluru FC’, on Tuesday, announced Rahul Dravid as their club’s new brand ambassador. By tweeting about the same, the soccer club confirmed the legendary Indian cricketer’s new role as a brand ambassador.
“Bengaluru FC is a story that’s been put together painstakingly, season after season. We’ve now found a vital piece that completes the jigsaw. This is the final brick”, tweeted the official page of Bengaluru FC on the micro-blogging site.
The official twitter page of ‘Bengaluru FC’ also shared a video in which every person is seen carrying a brick to help the construction on a wall. Their action is indirectly pointing towards Rahul Dravid who is called as ‘The Wall’ of Indian cricket team.
Sharing opinion over being announced as a brand ambassador of Bengaluru FC, the former cricketer said, “It’s great to be an ambassador for Bengaluru FC, a team who I have been tracking across the last four seasons.”
Bengaluru FC is all set to make its debut in Hero Indian Super League this year. The soccer club will take on Mumbai City FC in its first game on 19th November this year. The match is going to be played at Kanteerava Stadium, which is situated in Bengaluru.
