Seventh match of Hero Indian Super League season 4 is about to be played between Kerala Blasters FC and new ISL team – Jamshedpur FC. The game will be played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, which is situated in Kochi. The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM on 24th November 2017.
In the history of ISL, these two teams have never confronted with each other in any football match. No statistics or records about their performances are available as they never played any head-to-head match against each other. Jamshedpur FC will be playing its second match in this season of Hero ISL.
Owned by cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi, Kerala Blasters FC has not been a consistent performer in all seasons of ISL. Under coach David James and Peter Taylor, the team performed well in 1st and 3rd season. The team’s performance was decent in 2nd season of the league. Till now, Kerala’s football team has not won a single title.

Former English footballer Steve Coppell has been appointed as the head coach of Jamshedpur FC for the fourth edition of Indian Super League. Owned by Tata Steel, the team is going to make its debut in this season of ISL tournament.
In ISL 2014, Kerala Blasters FC showcased an average performance throughout the league. The team won five matches and faced defeats in five games. Earning 19 points with the overall performance in the series of football matches, Kerala Blasters FC secured fourth rank in the points table.
In 2nd edition of Indian Super League, Kerala Blasters FC’s performance declined drastically and the team lost maximum number of matches in the soccer tournament.
