Match 24 : Kerala Blasters FC vs NorthEast United FC Date, Time, Venue, Preview

NorthEast United FC will be confronting with Kerala Blasters FC in 24th match of ongoing Hero Indian Super League. The football match is going to be played on 15th December this year. Kerala’s football team and NorthEast United FC will be playing the soccer match at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, which is situated in Kochi. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM IST.

Kerala Blasters FC and NorthEast United FC have faced each other in six head-to-head matches till now. Kerala’s team managed to win two matches while NorthEast United FC sealed victories in two games. One match played between the two teams was drawn due to equal scores. Kerala’s FC claimed most number victories in those head-to-head clashes.

Owned by famous Bollywood actor John Abraham and Shillong Lajong Football Club, NorthEast United FC could not maintain consistency in its performance in all editions of ISL. Under the guidance of head coach João de Deus, the football team witnessed immense ups and downs in its total performance in all 3 seasons of the soccer tournament.

NorthEast United FC showcased dull performance in the opening season of India’s domestic football league. The soccer team exhibited growth in its performance in ISL 2015. However, NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) could not succeed in reaching into the finale of any edition of Hero Indian Super League due its poorest performances.

Early this year, NEUFC appointed Portuguese footballer Nelo Vingada as the new football manager of the team for the ongoing edition of Indian Super League. Under his helpful guidance and mentorship, NorthEast United soccer team is expected to come up with an appreciable performance in this season of ISL.

Owned by popular Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as well as famous actors Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna, Kerala Blasters FC didn’t showcase consistent performance in all seasons of the league. Under the training of coach David James and Peter Taylor, the team’s performance was up to the mark in first and second season of ISL. Loosing maximum number of matches, the team disappointed its fans in second edition of the league.

Dutch soccer-player René Meulensteen has been appointed as the new manager of Kerala Blasters football club for the ongoing season of ISL. Under his pivotal mentorship and guidance, Kerala Blasters FC is expected to showcase good performance in this season of Hero Indian Super League.

Kerala Blasters FC played 14 matches in opening season of ISL. Winning five matches, the team secured 4th rank in point table. Kerala’s football club lost 5 matches in the league stage and earned 19 points from 5 victories. Maintaining no consistency in the performance in the next edition of ISL, the team registered victories in only 3 matches. The team played 14 matches and faced defeats in 7 games.

Finishing 4 matches with equal scores, Kerala Blasters FC earned 13 points in ISL 2016. Winning six matches in league stage, the soccer team showcased astounding progress in its performance and secured 2nd rank in ISL points table. The team lost only four matches and successfully earned 22 points.

In ISL 2014, NorthEast United FC didn’t showcase admirable performance. The football club achieved victories in only 3 matches and lost 5 games in the league. The team earned 15 points with its overall performance in the tournament and ended up bagging bottom rank in the point table.

In second season of Hero Indian Super League, NorthEast United FC showcased massive progress in its performance and acquired victories in six matches. Facing defeats in 2 matches, the football club clinched strong position in top four best performer teams in ISL 2015 standings. NEUFC earned 20 points from the 6 victories and sealed 4th spot in the point table.

NorthEast United FC could not maintain consistency in its performance in 3rd season of ISL. Winning five matches in ISL 2016, the team didn’t manage to break its own record of earning 20 points in the previous edition of league. Earning 18 points from 6 victories, NEUFC attained 5th rank in the points table of 3rd season of Indian Super League.
