Mumbai City FC performed excellently in the pre-season matches. The ISL team confronted with total five local football clubs in Spain and registered victories in three matches. Mumbai’s football club managed to equalise the scores in two matches.
In the first pre-season match, Mumbai’s FC confronted with UE Gandia on 13th October. The team scored three goals and defended the opponent team from scoring any. The all-rounder performance of all footballers helped Mumbai City FC in winning the 1st friendly match.
Mumbai’s soccer team played its second pre-season friendly match against CD Castellon on October 16. In that match, Mumbai’s team scored 2 goals while the opposite team managed to score one. Thus, Mumbai City FC registered victory in the second match.
In the third friendly match, which was played on 18th October, Mumbai City FC confronted with CD Alcoyano. It wasn’t easy for Mumbai to win the game as the opponent team donned defensive stand and didn’t let Mumbai City FC score any goal. The game ended with 0-0 result.
Mumbai City FC confronted with UD Alzira in the fourth friendly match which was played on 21st October. Mumbai’c team comparatively performed well in the game as it scored 3 goals. The opponent team could score only one goal in the match and lost the game 3-1.
Mumbai’s football club played its fifth pre-season match against Levante UD ‘B’ on 27th October. The 5th friendly match of Mumbai City FC was quite interesting as both teams scored two goals each. Massive efforts to achieve conquest were seen from the both sides but the game ended 2-2.
