Delhi Dynamos FC head coach Miguel Angel Portugal slammed his team for not executing the strategic plans properly in the 2nd match of ISL. Ahead 14th football match of ISL 2017-18, the coach shared his views about the things which could have helped his team in winning the 2nd match of ISL which was played against Bengaluru FC.
Talking about the loss faced by Delhi’s team, head coach Portugal expressed his opinions about whether the footballers lagged and how they failed to implement their strategies of winning the game. The coach guided his team for the third match which will be played against NorthEast United FC. While interacting with media about the same, Portugal said, “Players need to execute plans properly.”
Delhi Dynamos FC is all set to confront with NorthEast United FC on 2nd December 2017. The match is about to be played at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, which is situated in Delhi. Delhi’s team will have massive support from the audiences while playing on the home-ground. It will be quite interesting to see how the team performs at its home-stadium in today’s match.
Delhi Dynamos FC commenced its ISL journey with a victorious start. Beating FC Pune City by 3-2 in its first match of this league, Delhi’s team sealed top rank in the points table. The team had confronted with Pune’s football club on 22nd November 2017 at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex stadium, which is situated in Pune.
After winning the first game, Delhi’s team didn’t maintain consistency in its perform in next match. The team played its 2nd match against new ISL team Bengaluru FC on 26th November 2017 at Sree Kanteerava stadium, which is located in Bengaluru. The team managed to score only goal in that match while the opponents hit 4 goals to win the match. With the defeat in that game, Delhi’s rank in points table declined to 6th position.
