“There are too many games to go”, says Mumbai City FC head coach

Replying to the media’s questions over the defeat faced by Mumbai City FC in its opening match against Bengaluru FC, Mumbai City FC head coach Alexandre Guimaraes said, “There are too many games to go. As the tournament progresses, we will see really who are the contenders for this edition of ISL.”

In the 4th match of ISL season 4, new ISL team Bengaluru FC beat Mumbai City FC 2-0. The match was played on November 19 at Sree Kanteerava stadium, which is situated in Bengaluru. Hitting two goals in the final phase of the match, the new ISL entrant clinched victory with 2-0 match score.

Talking about the loss in first match, head coach of Mumbai’s football club said, “But I know for sure that we need to work hard and correct our mistakes to be more competitive in the coming games.”

Opining about where his team went wrong in the opening game, Alexandre further added, “Scoring goals is the main objective of any game and that is something we need to focus more on.”

Bengaluru FC is going to play its next match against Delhi Dynamos FC on 26th November 2017 at Sree Kanteerava stadium, which is located in Bengaluru. After bagging meritorious victory in the first match, the new ISL franchise is expected perform well in the second game also.
